Ron Shull - Senior Pastor

Rev. Ron Shull has served as the Senior Pastor of Gateway Church since November 1981.  He is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University, with a BA in Pastoral Ministries.  He was ordained as an Assemblies of God Minister in June of 1982.  He is a gifted teacher who, with clarity and effectiveness, communicates the principles contained in the Word of God.  He believes very strongly in a multifaceted approach in reaching people with the gospel.  He has demonstrated his versatility through Illustrated Sermons, which present the gospel in an effective and creative manner.  He and his wife, Sherri, met while attending Southwestern Assemblies of God University and were married on July 8, 1972.  They have two children, Tammy and Brent.  Both are married and are very active in the ministries of Gateway Church.   
 

Jimmy Boggs - Executive Pastor

Rev. Jimmy Boggs has been a member of Gateway Church since 1984.  He served as elected deacon for 5 years before receiving the divine call into ministry.  He joined the Gateway Church staff as a part-time Associate Pastor in 1990.  On September 1, 1993 he completed his calling into full-time ministry as Associate Pastor.  Pastor Jimmy attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University.  He completed his studies in pastoral ministries through Global Bible Institute in 1998.  He was ordained as an Assemblies of God Minister in June of 2000.  Pastor Jimmy and his wife, Susan, have been married since January 4, 1980.  They are very proud of their two children, Brock and Shelbi, who are both serving the Lord at Gateway Church.  Pastor Jimmy serves as Executive Pastor with passion for ministry opportunities in the community of Midlothian.
 

 Jeff Logue PhD, LPC - Counseling

Dr. Jeff Logue is the director of counseling services at Gateway Church, where he offers assistance to those dealing with depression; addiction; marital conflict; childhood trauma; and various clinical, personality, and mood disorders.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Counseling, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, and has a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University.  He is a Licensed Minister, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Texas Board Approved Supervisor.  He serves as Assistant Professor at Southwestern Assemblies of God University and has been working with Gateway Church to meet the needs of the community since 1995.  

Mitchell & Katie White, Student Pastor

Pastor Mitchell has the passion to see today's youth rise to the occasion.  His vision is to see our young people soar to new heights and depth with God.  He's excited to connect and lead youth through God's Word.  He has worked with young people previously as a student leader, adult leader, and Rec Staff member at the North Texas District Campground.  He graduated from Lawrence High School in Kansas in 2006.  Currently, he is in his fourth year at Southwestern Assemblies of God University completing his B.A. in Youth Ministries and A.A. in Business.  He and his wife, Katie, met at Southwestern and now reside in Waxahachie.

Brock Boggs - Children’s Pastor

James Brock Boggs is currently serving as the Kid’s Quake Children’s Pastor at Gateway Church.  God placed a passion for children’t ministry in Brock’s heart when he was 12 years old.  Instead of graduating from children’s church, he stayed and was mentored for several years by our former children’s ministers, Joseph and Jennifer Mena.  He graduated from Life School with highest honors on May 18, 2007.  In order to fulfill God’s calling into full-time ministry, he is currently attending Christ for the Nations Institute.  In the near future, he plans to transfer to Southwestern Assemblies of God University to complete his degree in Children and Family Ministries.  Brock has an incredible and unique connection to children of all ages.

Jennifer Mena - Finance Director

Jennifer Mena, with a servant's heart, has been a part of children's ministry for 13 years.  She graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Management of a Non-profit Organization and has a teaching certificate in English as a Second Language.  Her and her husband, Joseph, of ten years have two beautiful children, Ethan and Ariana.  Jennifer has graciously taken on the task of finance director and has been a true blessing to Gateway Church.

Victoria Ready - Praise & Worship Director

Tori Ready is presently serving as the Praise and Worship Director at Gateway Church.  She graduated from George County High School in Lucedale, Mississippi and is currently working on her Bachelor's degree in Church Music from Southwestern Assemblies of God University.  She plans to graduate in May of 2011.  From a young age, she has been involved in leading worship; starting in her youth group as the worship leader then transitioning into leading for the main service.  With seven years of worship experience, she is pursuing the calling God has placed on her life and is excited to be a new member of GC and an inspiration into worship for the entire congregation.
