We are well on our way!  Gateway Church has purchased 5.25 acres of land at 555 N. Walnut Grove Road in Midlothian.  Our prayer is to build this new building debt-free.  In God’s timing, this site will host 22,960 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility that will serve as a foundation for a place of worship and a community recreation center.  Until that time, we are presently holding Sunday services at Walnut Grove Middle School.  As we seed into other churches, ministries, and families, we trust God will provide our need.

Gateway Church Dream

What a blessing it is to have a deep understanding of God’s loving plan uniting a church and congregation together with a common vision......a common dream. 

It is the dream of a place where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, and encouragement by a church that cares.   

It is the dream of welcoming hundreds of members into the fellowship of our church family – loving, learning, laughing, and living in harmony together.

It is the dream of having members who have committed themselves to: having a daily time with God, giving a weekly tithe to God, and participating in our monthly Small Group meetings and discovering their ministry within the body of Christ. 

It is the dream of a network of Small Groups providing support, encouragement, and accountability to our members as they seek to grow in Christlikeness. 

It is the dream of developing people to spiritual maturity through our Life Development Classes, offering a balanced program of Bible studies to develop their knowledge, perspective, conviction, and character. 

It is the dream of equipping every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents God gave them. 

It is the dream of empowering every member to fulfill their God-given destiny.       

It is the dream of starting new churches and assisting those that are struggling financially. 

It is the dream of a future with at least 25 acres of land, on which we will build:

A worship complex that creates an environment conducive to praise and worship. 

A prayer and counseling center which will focus on extending a directional hand to those with emotional, relational, or spiritual needs.  

A children’s pavilion that contains a highly visual environment where elementary-aged children can participate in uniquely designed church teachings, involving drama, puppets, characters, stage scenes, special effects, music and video. 

A youth pavilion which reflects an atmosphere and design geared towards today’s contemporary youth which provides events, classes, trips to learn, and the ability to grow, enjoy, and build relationships.   

A Royal Ranger outpost designed to instruct, challenge and inspire our boys in the areas of Bible doctrine, Christian service, moral conduct, and basic beliefs of our church through interesting activities boys enjoy. 

A National Girls Ministry complex which will provide an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities through events that are unique to the maturity of girls.   

An outreach center that reflects the driving force behind all we do here at Gateway Church.  It will demonstrate Christianity in action locally and globally. All of this will be designed to minister to the total person, spiritually, emotionally, physically and socially.  These facilities will be beautiful, yet simple and set in a peaceful, inspiring garden landscaped setting.
