We believe God is raising up a generation of young people who are unashamed and passionate about the absolute truths revealed in the Word of God. At USM God is continually restoring lives and shaping students into their God-given destiny. It’s our honor, and duty, to equip and train this unique generation. Our goal is that every student would be effective in ministering in their school, home, and their community.
School can be a difficult and dark place to be a positive influence, so we encourage students to let their light shine, and speak words of encouragement to their peers. Not all of USM students come from Christian homes. We want to do whatever we can to positively impact these students; from prayer, to daily encouragements, to social activities, to student/parent meetings. Students at USM are heavily involved with serving their community. We have assisted in local nursing homes, thrift stores, and adopt-a-block programs, and many others.
USM is all about encouraging, empowering, and enlisting teenagers. At USM we understand that school-life, home-life, and social-life can at times be troublesome and discouraging. USM provides a safe atmosphere for every student to feel accepted and appreciated. Students are encouraged through a strong Christian community, music and song, games, and biblical teachings. It is the goal of USM to equip every student with the knowledge and the initiative to make positive life changing decisions.
